String Quartet & Flute

Johann Georg Albrechtsberger (Austrian, 1736-1809)

DIVERTIMENTO for cello, viola, and double bass

Classical style - taught Beethoven
 

Gioachino Rossini - (Italian, 1792-1869)  

DUO for cello and bass fiddle

Known for his operas, his music is a beautiful blending of humor and heart (Matthew Bird)

   

Richard Auldon Clark - (American, b. 1964)

BOOKENDS for viola, violin, and flute

Inspired by composer’s favorite authors.
 

Erwin Schulhoff - (Austrian, 1894-1942)

CONCERTINO for flute, viola, and double bass

Influenced by Brahms, Dvorak, and Russian folk music.

Dohnanyi - (Austrian- Hungarian, 1877-1960)

SERENADE for viola, violin, and cello.

Hungarian composer, influenced by Brahms & Dvŏŕak

Music composed during times of worldly turmoil, but filled with beauty, compassion, charm, and optimism.

No tickets needed for concerts, but good will donations much appreciated.

We hope that you all will attend and enjoy each of these concerts.

Are you aware that the FLCMF provides concerts to area senior communities, summer camps and this year will provide concerts to FIVE local schools,  promoting classical chamber music to young and old within our community?  All concerts are FREE which is only possible with the generous support of Festival patrons.
