Known for his operas, his music is a beautiful blending of humor and heart (Matthew Bird)
Richard Auldon Clark - (American, b. 1964)
BOOKENDS for viola, violin, and flute
Inspired by composer’s favorite authors.
Erwin Schulhoff - (Austrian, 1894-1942)
CONCERTINO for flute, viola, and double bass
Influenced by Brahms, Dvorak, and Russian folk music.
Dohnanyi - (Austrian- Hungarian, 1877-1960)
SERENADE for viola, violin, and cello.
Hungarian composer, influenced by Brahms & Dvŏŕak
Music composed during times of worldly turmoil, but filled with beauty, compassion, charm, and optimism.
