FINGER LAKES CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL CANCELS 2020 SEASON

It is with great regret that the Finger Lakes Chamber Music Festival board announces that the 2020 performance season is being cancelled. After 17 years of bringing quality live music to a wide range of local audiences, only the ongoing threat of the Coronavirus pandemic could cause this serious step.

Our apologies to the students and campers who would have attended youth outreach concerts and master classes and to audiences anticipating FLCMF performances in the Penn Yan Courthouse Lawn Concerts and at Hunt Country Vineyards. A special thank you for the continuing support of our generous patrons. And lastly, gratitude for the understanding of the musicians who would have traveled from New York City and beyond to bring their talent to our planned schedule. Longtime relationships have been built with many of these outstanding professionals. They will return. We will return. Until a next season, here is to safety and good health for all.

For more about the Festival, check www.FingerLakes-Music.org. Questions also can go to FingerLakesMusicFestival@gmail.com or to FLCMF, PO Box 605, Penn Yan, NY 14527, and a message can be left at 315-536-0383. The call will be returned.

Music Across the Finger Lakes

When you cannot be in our audience, you might want to explore the vibrant culture of classical music that enriches  our lake country. With generous support from the Finger Lakes Tourism Connection, six regional opera companies and festivals have formed a collaborative alliance under the banner, “Music Across the FLX.” To link to any of these organizations and learn about the many outstanding musical opportunities available, click the link below.
